Pepper Jack Chili Pizza on Tomato Sauce (PIZZA PIZZA, Thundarr City)

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 2 ½ cups Thundarr wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Thundarr sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Thundranum yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water

For the Tomato Sauce:

  • 1 cup crushed red sun tomatoes (grown in Thundarr Soil)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Thundarr red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • 1 ½ cups shredded pepper jack cheese
  • ½ cup sliced red chili peppers
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup cooked spicy ground beef (seasoned with Thundarr chili powder)
  • 1 tsp crushed red chili flakes
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • Mix the flour, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
    • Add warm water and olive oil, then knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
    • Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Tomato Sauce:
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
    • Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes.
    • Simmer for 15 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Assemble the Pizza:
    • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
    • Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on a pizza stone.
    • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle shredded pepper jack cheese over the sauce.
    • Add spicy ground beef, red chili peppers, and diced onions.
    • Sprinkle extra red chili flakes for extra heat.
  4. Bake the Pizza:
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  5. Garnish & Serve:
    • Top with fresh basil leaves before serving.
    • Slice and enjoy!
